Self-Care for Women

As a doctor, the author's favorite prescription to somen is: '"Do something just for yourself once daily." Self-nurturing is so vital for life balance and healthy living, yet it is a concept so often foreign to women. They put the needs of others constantly in from of their own needs leading to feelings of being overwhelmed and exhausted.

"Fill Your Own Cup" and give yourself permission for self-care. Nurture yourself. This leads to not only you feeling better but you will have more to give to those you care about.

The author states that the path to self-care need not be expensive or time-consuming. Some simple ways are:

- Medidate daily or listen to music.

- Buy yourself some flowers.

- Go to an event you enjoy.
