Making Wishes Come True

Dear Friend of our Community, During this past year, we have all faced many challenges throughout the Covid-19 pandemic. Despite these hard times, we can look forward to the love and joy that the holidays will bring. This year, all of our Angels of Light families not only had to face the hardships of Covid-19, but also have to care for a child with a life threatening illness. More than likely, these children will be spending the holidays in the hospital, undergoing serious treatments such as chemotherapy, or are at home in isolation. Our mission at Angels of Light is to provide holiday giving to children with life threatening illnesses and their families, and to make it as special and memorable as possible. Sadly, for many children, it will be their last holiday shared with their loved ones. By making a donation of any kind, you will directly help to take away the stress felt by these families so that they are able to spend more quality time together. We need your help more than ever this year to help make the wishes of these beautiful children come true. How can you help? Giving Tree: Stop in to one of our Giving Tree locations & pick out an ornament. Purchase that gift, then return the unwrapped gift with the receipt. Many of our families come from Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital, Ronald McDonald House, Sparrow’s Nest, Ryan’s Foundation, Vassar Brother’s Pediatric Oncology, Hospice, Make-a-Wish, Rocky Strong, and many more. With the help from our volunteers, community, and you, we have grown to delivering over 3,000 gifts each holiday season.
