About Our Speaker:
After a successful career in corporate marketing and design, our speaker, Susan Johnson, became Co-owner of Denning's Point Distillery in Beacon. Opening in 2014, Denning's Point has turned out medal-winning artisanal spirits and is the three-time winner of the Best Hudson Valley Distillery Award. Susan will share with us how her experiences in the male-dominated distillery industry motivated her to gain new skills and polish up existing ones. Her presentation will help us all learn how to become more resilient and flexible in the ever-changing world of business.

The building has a fascinating history. Built as a church in 1845, today it is one of the hottest event spaces in Poughkeepsie. There's something special about a building that has withstood well over 150 years of our nation's growth and change. This former church was once a gathering spot has reclaimed its glory and continues to bring the community together.
